Sony Interactive Entertainment has officially announced the release of Days Gone Remastered for PlayStation 5 and PC on April 25, 2025. The refreshed edition of Bend Studio’s popular open-world title delivers improved graphics, new features, and content designed to revitalize the player experience.

Days Gone Remastered fully utilizes the capabilities of the PlayStation 5, offering:

• Enhanced visual fidelity with increased foliage draw distance, improved shadows, and lighting.
• Tempest 3D Audio support for a more immersive soundscape.
• The ability to choose between Quality mode (higher resolution) and Performance mode(smoother frame rates).
• DualSense controller support with haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, providing tactile sensations from the motorcycle engine to dynamic weather conditions.

New Features and Content

The Remastered edition introduces new modes and challenges for added depth:

• Horde Assault Mode: An arcade-style mode where players face escalating waves of enemies, earning rewards and new cosmetic items.
• Permadeath Mode: For the daring, this mode means death results in restarting the game or the current chapter, depending on the chosen setting.
• Speedrun Mode: Encourages players to complete the story as quickly as possible, with the ability to share completion times.
• Enhanced Photo Mode: Improved photography tools, including time-of-day settings, a three-point lighting system, and new logo options.
